If you try to set up a mailbox, and it is already PIN protected, and you do not know the PIN, you will not be able to perform these steps. It is important to complete all three of these steps when you are setting up a voicemail box for a new employee, a new department group, … and it’s especially important to complete all three steps when a new employee is replacing an old employee at an extension.
